Getting Here
AMSI is allowing students or early career researchers, from AMSI member universities, without access to a suitable research grant or other source of funding to apply for AMSI Travel funding. The funding can only be used to cover accommodation costs while at either of the MathsFest satellite events. Accomodation can be covered up to n+1 nights, where n is the number of days the conference runs for. This funding will come out of the allowance allocated annually to each of AMSI’s member universities (for list of members, see here). Students or early career researchers must seek approval from the Head of Mathematical Sciences to access the departmental travel allowance.
