Quantitative recurrence for slowly mixing hyperbolic systems
We are interested in the counting process of visits to a small around the origin, and more precisely in its behaviour as the radius of the ball goes to 0. We prove the convergence in distribution of this process (under a suitable time normalization) to the standard Poisson process. This is a joint work with Benoˆıt Saussol.
